Fishing in the Scottish Highlands - Family Fishery

There are three ponds at Craggan Fishery, a children's bait pond for under 16's where a reasonable method may be used, a fly loch for the dedicated fly fisher, this comprises the bulk of the left hand pond above and a bait pond for those who may want to try to catch something bigger.

Rainbow and Brown Trout Fishing in Scotland

Stocking is carried out on a regular basis with Rainbow Trout, the biggest caught to date weighing in at 10½lbs from the bait pond and some Brown Trout being put into the fly loch, the biggest so far being 5½lbs. Most of the fish in the junior bait pond are approx ½ - ¾lb mark with a few heavier fish in as well.
